We are pleased to announce that we will be heading to Liverpool and Manchester for this year’s domestic tour. We shall be spending three nights in each location, departing on Sunday 28th June and returning Saturday 4th July. We are aiming to play 5 games of cricket with every tourist having plenty of opportunities to play as well as getting tickets to watch the floodlit t20 match at Old Trafford between Lancashire and Yorkshire to round off the week.

As well as the abundance of cricket there’ll be plenty of opportunities to get on it and hear that beautiful scouse accent with our respective hostels being located very centrally right in amongst the best bars and clubs the cities have to offer.

We will require initial deposits of £75 by the 31st January from those that wish to come, this must be paid on time to enable us to book accommodation. The overall cost won’t be confirmed until all games and activities are booked, but we expect it to be around £180 which would cover travel, accommodation and the t20 tickets.

Here is a rough itinerary for what you can expect throughout the week:

Sunday- People carriers leave campus early morning. Will either be having a game with a club side en-route or playing the afternoon we arrive in Liverpool. First night out of the trip will follow.

Monday- Second game of cricket.

Tuesday– Third game of cricket.

Wednesday– Travelling day from Liverpool to Manchester, possible 20/20 game followed by an evening meal.

Thursday– Another game of cricket.

Friday- Day off, final day of trip so opportunities to see the sights of Manchester. A floodlit T20 game between Lancashire and Yorkshire in the evening.

Saturday- Heading back to sunny Warwickshire.

It should be a great way to end the year and celebrate the end of exams and we hope as many of you as possible can make it. For more information please join our Facebook group here. If you have any further questions please contact either Dan Goodyear or Michael Kynaston.
